    Hi there,

The above machine (10 years old) and has been problem free until know!

Whatever cycle is used the machine gets stuck on the trickle fill.

At the start of the wash the machine fills OK, then the jetsystem kicks in and the water is trickled through the wash from above. At this point the machine just keeps on trickle filling until the water level gets to the top of the glass door, then it starts washing in the usual way, it then.

Not great for water consumption, electricity usage or the quality of the wash. Any ideas ? 🙁

Sounds like a blocked pressure system.

check your filter. if this is ok then check filter housing(manifold) for possible blocked air chamber.

Great advice, saved me £500 (for now) for a new built-in machine. Having unplugged, I took out the pressure switch & the hose. Gently blowing into the switch I could hear it clicking and the hose wasn’t faulty either. I reconnected the lower end of the hose, just above the pump and gave it a good blow hoping to clear any blockage. Reconnected the hose and switch and bingo, a new lease of life for the 10 year old Zanussi!!!!

    Thanks very Much
    Dave P 😀 😀
