Zanussi Jeysystem 1400 – Slow spin speed

Zanussi Jetsystem 1400 – FJS 1425 W. Completes Synthetics cycle OK but seems to spin at slower speed than it used to . (nominal speed 900). Washing comes out wetter than expected. It does actually spin though, I’ve watched it! If set to 1600 spin speed it does it ok. Filter already cleaned out

How many times has this happened?
How much was in the machine at the time? (small load?)

Could be down to the size/balance of the load – if the machine can’t balance it properly it will spin at a lower speed or if really off balance it won’t spin at all.

Has happened a few times with various loads, but not clear it happens every time. Whenever I have watched there is no evidence of off balance load. The real question is does anyone know a common reason why it could spin slow in a controlled way.
