Zanussi Lindo 300 turns for five mins then stops, no heat

Zanussi Lindo 300 Model ZDC 8203WR Prod no 91609737700 bought 23/4/2018

Front panel indications are all normal, after selecting program etc dryer rotates as normal but after exactly 5 mins it stops. There is no heat at any time.
I have changed the element and the NTC sensor with no result.
Condenser and filter are both clean

Any Ideas please

try a timed programme and see what happens

also a of machines wont heat unless there are enough wet clothes in the drum

You can only select the programs from the menu, you can’t set a specified length of time. i.e. when you select cottons you get 1hr 40 mins, which you cannot change. We have tried most of the programs and after exactly 5 mins it stops.
The way the snag first showed itself was when a load of wet clothes did not get hot.

does the drum reverse or only go one way ?

one way only

well thats a possibility

had an AEG that did similar things and it ended up being a bad solder joint on the motor relay so motor would only go one way. When it reversed and did not run, the software ended the programme and because some machines hide the fault the owner sold it
