    Hi,

I’m new to the forum…my partner has an undercounter, built-in oven, 900mm wide I think. She inherited it when she bought the house. It was professionally cleaned and any identifying marks are no longer visible, we’ve looked everywhere as has a Zanussi engineer. So we don’t have a model number and we need to replace the left-hand hinge (as you look at the front). So is there a generic hinge? Are there any specialists who could look at a pic and identify the model/hinge needed? It seems a shame to buy a new one rather than fix a very capable oven. Any suggestions very gratefully received

How’s about you remove the hinge then Google Zanussi Hinge and compare the pic for the right one? 💡

The images aren’t always reliable Martin, you’d probably suss it as would many an engineer but, they change the things all the time.

I followed an Electrolux one the other day that had no less than ten part number changes and it did look quite different to the original. It’s a right pain sometimes when people order from images as, it’s more often than not the wrong thing. They do all look very similar to an untrained eye.

You might get lucky but, with no model and increasingly, a PNC, production code or 12NC etc it can be nigh on impossible to get the right parts.

Here’s another plan of action then……..remove the hinge then go to your nearest Service Force (Zanussi) centre who usually have a sales counter. Plonk it on the counter, job’s a good ‘un! 💡
