Zanussi Oven Keeps On Heating!

Ser 74000012.
If you set tempreture on touch display and start oven (tested it on fan oven) it starts heating and when display shows correct tempreture reached it just keeps on heating and does not stop. Cooling fan cuts in ok. Even if you then turn the oven off via the touch screen switch the fan element is still heating. Only by turning power off at mains would it stop heating. It’s got to be power board hasn’t it? I tested the tempreture in the oven and it was the same as the display was showing at the reached tempreture.
So sensor seems ok.
Any one had this fault on this oven?

They have had oven sensor issues though IIRC. So might be worth replacing the sensor first OR at least checking it out.

One question though: If it just keeps on heating then at some point the safety stat would trip (non resettable) so has it?

have you checked the insulation of the element I’ve had that go down to earth and the element stays on until you switch off at mains.

I’ve had this main power board heater relays sticks so new power board.
