zanussi small condensor dryer model FD 10

ordered fan for it, going back on wed, looks like a bit of a job,
any pointers as to the best way to change,
its the fan that has a small pulley attached to it that runs a small drive belt..

What’s an FD10 when it’s at home?

Are you sure you have the correct number? What’s the PNC?

sorry martin dont have pnc to hand,
this thing looks like a wall mounted boiler, this is the 2nd one ive seen,
weird looking thing..very compact.. about 60cm tall, 40cm wide and 35cm depth.

went to one of these B’stards last year for same fault-fan change is ok , from memory its top and right side panels off. common fault is leaking
from front near filter. awkward if mounted on wall.

did one yesterday. take the tank out, remove back cover, take of fan drive belt, remove right side panel (as you look at the back) the motor is visible, get a towel on the floor and stand the drier on its top, there are only two screws that retain the motor mounting then you slide the mounting plate forward to release it, might need a screwdriver it prise it a bit, take off the wiring and the motor is out, there is a service manual on tds, can supply it if need be.

the new fan has a split pin in, is this how old fan is attached to motor shaft..

the main fan is on a splined d shaft, it knocks on the little fan wheel is held on with a spring clip.
