Participanthi all, checked stats on element plus element all have circuit, also placed damp cloths inside as i know it has sensor for dampness, bottle’s empty condenser is clear also filters.
could it be exhaust stat (were is it!) open, or circuit board problem.
this job is no fun had to listen to dolly parton at full volume for half an hour, 3 screaming kids and a couple of hairy dogs to throw in for good measure, a real mad house

What’s a TCE4124W when its at home? (Can’t see it on TDS?)
Most modern Zanussi dryers have a stat in the drum/door aperture that goes ‘Dolly Partons up’ usually 😆

Sorry 😳 it was Dolly Partons boobs that clouded my vision :martin:
Well then thanks to D_C putting this ‘blind git’ back on track…I stand by my earlier statement….Its the flipping stat in the drum surround I expect? (Part No: 1254041005)

thanks martin going back tomorrow, not to sure if you strip it down from front or from back and remove drum or slide it back to gain access to front, did not have a good look when i was there, think i’ll take into the garden and close the door even if its pi**ing it down, maybe take my fishing umbrella and work one handed.

Simon,
Hell no!
The thermostat is located inside the cowling around the front. Stick your head into the drum and look up, its located in the 12 o’clock position behind a plate with pozidrive self tappers. Remove plate, pull the 2 wires off and check continuity. (switch is normally closed)
Besides you should have the PDF file Dave sent you by now with it shown 😉
