    Hi,
The above slimline tumble dryer is noisy and requires a motor fan.
Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the motor/fan.

I removed the 2 torx screws securing the fan housing cover to the metal bracket between the motor and housing.
Removed the two Philips screws behind the door on the front panel by the top hinge.
Removed the two Phillips screws through the back panel into the motor bracket.
Removed the two torx screws located to the side of the motor just behind the top of the side panel.
Removed the long screw securing the fan housing to the back panel.

At this point I couldn’t find anything else holding this in place but it still wouldn’t come out.

Is there another way to remove this or have I missed something?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the manual Dave.
It looks like it may not have come out because I hadn’t removed the spring completely. I removed the belt to take off the tension but it looks like the spring might have locked it I place.
I will find out when I return with the part.
    Keith.
