ParticipantHi,
In order to remove the back panel on my Zanussi TC485W Condenser Dryer to replace a broken belt I had to disconnect the wires at the top of the machine connecting to the mains input.
I did take a picture before disconnecting but the image has got lost and i’m buggered. Any attempt would purely be a guess and dangerous.
PLEASE – does anybody own one and willing to undo 2 screws to take the top off and send me the picture of the connection order.
Or anybody know where the control panel wires and capacitor wires should connect to.
Please see attached picture of my dilemma. Many thanks

Thanks Martin, can’t find that diagram anywhere else online!
Does the order of the Anti-interference filter wires matter? I have two black wires and one gold.March 29, 2013 at 4:32 pm #392967Martin

The gold goes on the earth terminal. The blacks on L & N but either way as they are not polarity reliant.

Hi Martin,
I assumed (probably incorrectly) that the two black wires for the Anti-interference filter were for Live (top) and neutral (middle), with the gold wire for the Earth (bottom).
Connected it as shown in the picture and all seems working ok. Please let me know if I got this wrong, not sure if incorrect wiring of the A.I.F will stop the operation of the machine, or whether it could cause problems later on with the machine…
Your help was much appreciated. 😀
Happy Easter!Rich
