Water is leaking onto the floor from my daughter’s Zanussi dryer. The reservoir is empty and, as far as I can tell, correctly seated. I can’t see anywhere where the water might be coming from.

    Is there a known issue?

    TIA

Check seals of condenser are clean & that condenser itself is not blocked. Theres a pump motor operated by a float switch that should come on when float switch is activated, they do stick sometimes though.

Thanks, I’ll do that when I get a chance. She did say the rubber ring associated with the reservoir didn’t look to be in the best condition. Could it be something as simple as that? If so, are they easy/cheap to get hold of and fit?

    The dryer is leaking again…

This time a thick plastic tube with a spring attached has come away in the back of the area occupied by the reservoir. Is this kind of problem typical of the Zanussi, or are we just being unlucky?

    Is it a simple/inexpensive fix?

    TIA

It just needs a good service/clean-out and not an expensive fix. Click HERE for a local engineer to sort it for your daughter.:D
