    The first one of these I have seen, customer says machine got very hot then on the next load she found the heater was not working. had a quick look this morning, all the ducts, heat exchanger, filters etc seem clear. Element and the two stats on it appear OK. I didn’t have my lappy with me at the time so couldn’t have at gander a TDS disc. Having done so I have spotted a stat in the door frame.

    Why would the machine appear to have overheated, any previous on these machines ?

    Front stat sticks in the closed position.. Had a few of these recently. Access by screwed on cover in the drum.

    Cheers Chris will check that out, I would have expected the 160° one shot to have tripped though. ❓

    Spotted that on TDS as well, will go armed with my laptop on next visit.
