zanussi tc7103s not heating

Hey gang,

3 Year old dryer stopped heating this morning.

Having read loads, I see its either a stat or an element issue so I stripped it to bits.

I have done a continuity test on the element and it seems OK, I also did a continuity test across the 2 one shot stats in the element and they showed continuity

I also pulled the stat from the front door panel….its one that looks like this

Now this doesn’t show continuity…..I’m assuming it should?

Have I checked everything correctly? If so I’ll just go ahead and order a new one

That stat is a very common fault.

PS. The stats on the element are not both one shot stats. 😉

Ahh…..Ok bud, thanks for clarifying. I only thought they were one shots as they looked like it. Shouldn’t have assumed 🙂

So all of those stats should show continuity then?
