zanussi tc7114w condenser dryer – broken circlip

whilst putting the dryer back together having successfully changed the belt 😀 the circlip on the axle broke 🙁 where can i get hold of one or can the machine be used without it?

for some reason this part does not seem to be listed in the spares manual
but circlips are standard parts some of the time find a local engineers merchant, take the broken one to them and ask
