    Hi folks.
I need help as I’m out of my depth and drowning here!….lol. I’ve changed the heater element and the temperature probe (really enjoyed taking it apart and putting it back together too!) but the damned thing still won’t heat. Everything seems to be working. Drum spins, air moves and it sounds good but…….no heat. When I contacted Zanussi parts they said that the only two things they could offer as replacement parts to rectify the problem were the heater and probe. Now £80 later I’m no further forward. I’ve obviously missed something. Any suggestions. There’s no trip on the back of the machine either.
    Help!!

If your sure that both parts were correct and wired correctly then it has to be the heater relay on the main circuit board itself at fault

this is a long shot but did you have wet clothes in when you tested it. dont know with this machine but some dryers dont start to heat till dampness is detected

Agreed with above. Most sensor dry driers will check dampness before heating. Heater relay on PCb is common failure for zanussi

I have the same situation with a Zanussi TCE 7276w. I have replaced the heating element and it still does not heat. Where do I locate the temperature probe and can I test this with a multimeter before getting a replacement? Thanks

Left hand side near capacitor and can be tested with meter.

Thanks. Getting a reading of about 4k ohms at room temp. I’m assuming this means it is bad. Can anybody confirm please.

It should be closer to 6k @ 20c.
