    Hi,
I’ve just been out to a zanussi condensor dryer TCE7124w and the machine is dead apart from the on/off switch neon.
Havent spent a massive amount of time on one of these before but would probably put it down to being the PCB.
Has anybody had any similar experiences with this machine and was it the PCB. Thought about the door lock, but it still engages and you can hear the microswitch clicking.
One thing that the man told me was his wife thought that the machine prior to going wrong seemed to overheat. Dont know if this is accurate or not but thought i’d mention it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Nick

Stat up the front of the tub will stop the machine if it fails.

Thanks for your help Chris and Mbdas.
I think that the door switch is working OK, I tried switching it manualy and I could hear the microswitch click, not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} proof its working I know, but still it seems OK. The stat at the front is a new one on me. Does this stop the machine dead like this fault and doesnt even let the machine start up.
All I get is the neon light from the push button On/Off switch. None of the other buttons function.
It would sort of tie in with the lady saying that the machine overheated prior to it going wrong. Is it some sort of one shot stat like Hotpoint/Indyshit.

Thanks again for your help guys.
