    Hi all,

    After months of making occasional grinding type noises on our Zanussi TD 524 I think I’ve found the problem. The front felt bearing has frayed and must have been getting stuck.
    The part seems readily available – but would it be easy to fit? Is it just a case of pushing it into the gap where the old one came out? Or is there more to it?
    Would prefer not to spend £300+ on a new machine if I can help it!! 🙂

    Not that easy really, theres a lot of stripping down to be done, power off of course.
    Top off then both sides & back off.
    Lift out drum, fit felt.
    Rebuild & hopefully no screws left over.
