Have you checked the usual things like insulation resistance, heater continuity, pumping out ok , inlet valves, motor brushes?

Replace the timer, this unit is driven by the motor pcb and the wiper contacts on the front of the timer wear, so the coding gets corrupted.

The timer is looking for what “Service Force” call point zero which is a reference point on the cam pack.

As a service force engineer, i have been to two of these faults in recent months and it has been the tacho coil O/C. On one occasion it had fell off the motor, just put it back and away it went.
