zanussi TLE 1116W top loader

i have a problem on a zanussi top loader tle1116w. as the softner is poured into the softner compartment it empties straight away through a small hole at the bottom of the dispenser. i cant open up the dispenser to check inside, i guess the fault can only be in the dispenser but thought i would ask here if anyone else has seen this before as the dispenser is a special order.

This is a known fault and modified parts are required. Covers have been added at the opening of the overflow; and crosspieces added at the overflow edges.

Part numbers for modified dispenser units (from TDS):-

146142012/5 – (3 chamber).

146142013/3 – (4 chamber).

146364303/9 – (with the EWM1000 electronic controls).

from Serial no. 418 – modified parts are already factory fitted.
