Participantbeen to this today and dicovered filter gunked up.cleaned all out and assumed that the “its not filling” fault would be cured. no such luck.
when trying to start a cycle i get constant pump for a couple of minutes then nothing.
i ran diagnostics at least three times and all individual functions were working, however each time it displayed 33 after drain out. this is and i quote
“incongruance between pressure sensor and anti boil level 1.
fault has to be for a time longer than 60sec.”the question is, having checked the airchamber is clear, which of the pressostats should i change?
part 1243905112 at £12.10 or
1320903014 at £26.06.
or even worse has any of you had this fault and found it to be something else?thanks

it really could be either
i normally just change both to be surebut the good moneys on the anti boil switch rather than the analogic switch
please tell me u didnt blow up the pressure hose?

Is this a top-loader?
I’ve gotten “incongruance” fault on front loaders being caused by the heater being down to earth.
But it can be caused by blowing into the analogic pressure switch. I’d be going for changing the electronic p’switch, thats after checking the cabling & tightening the connections.June 1, 2011 at 7:23 pm #352680helo_75

no i didn’t blow up the tubes to cause this fault although i did blow down to the airchamber. i’m interested in the heater mention. i did megger it and the reading is just below 1 meg.
i thought if that was it then the diagnostics would have picked it up.i think i’ll pop round and hook up a heater and see what happens. and yes it is a top loader.
thanks

well done seamy.
eventually got access to this machine again and after changing the heater everything is o.k. now.
i know a new heater has a much higher resistance than 1 meg, but given that it would have passed a pat test i suppose i chose to ignore it.
thanks to all contributors.

A lesson learnt but it just goes to show how out of step with modern electronics the PAT test regulations are. A 1 meg would pass as you say Keith but anything less the 40 or 50 meg would flag up errors all over the place within any microprocessor controlled device these days.
Sailors beware of the ‘roaring 40’s… service engineers beware of the E30’s
…..but don’t tell PAT. 😈
