    TJS 1397 machine fills washes for a minute or so then gives a few bursts of pump then timer rapidly advances to near the end of rinse. motor heater tacho all OK. dont see many of these any ideas?

    no, pumped out a treat when I set it to spin but I didnt take the sump off to check for anything.

    heater solid as a rock the module looks very much like the old jet system the one that also controled the timer advance so I’m thinking along these lines but as I said these machines are as rare as hens teeth to me so it could be an expensive guess

    Having just looked up the troubleshooting guide for this model (on TDS disk by the way.:wink:) it says: –

    ‘Switches on heater for a moment then skips the phase and advances to the end of the programme’ Possible cause = PCB fault…. Remedy = Replace PCB
