My tumble dryer is stuck on cool. I had an engineer, who said it was the heater element, I have replaced it, and still have the same problem. Occasionally I can get it on hot, but not for long before it reverts to cool again……does anyone have any thoughts please?

Why didn’t the engineer replace the element for you?
Because of intermittent fault using multimeter you need to first check continuity of heater (even if it’s new it could be duff), wiring and stats. Make sure there are no chafed wires. Report back what you find and we can help you from there.
