Zanussi Turbodry 1050 WDS 1183 W – Starting Problems

Hi,
I’ve got the above washing machine and it washes fine for the first time. However if you try to get it to go into dry mode having reduced the load etc. it shows the power LED but the door light will not come on and the machine won’t start. Its the same if you just load it again and select a second wash.

If you leave it for up to 1 hour it will suddenly be ok again until that wash finishes and then is stops again for a while.
I’ve checked the filter in case it was holding water but its clean.

Come to think of it, it sounds a bit like me. Works when it wants to and doesn’t want to work too hard. But like me the missus is loosing patience with it as well!! 😉

Any help would be appreciated.

Possibly the door interlock, or motor brushes..check brushes anyway if its over 3 year old

Thanks for the info, I’m not sure what’s going on but the issue seems to have gone away and its behaving itself again. The missus must have given it the same glare that she gives me, bound to fix or f**k that is!
