Zanussi W/D odd one?

Complaint of loud noise. It was the dryer fan assy, quite a common fault.

However she insists that not only does it make the noise when drying, but says that it makes the same noise on the 40° wash but not the 30° wash. :con:

Is that likely?

I believe the fan comes on towards the end of the wash cycle to clear condensation.

yeh second that , we had a customer who never used dryer but complained of a strange noise near the end of the prog .. it was more luck than anything else that i happened to be at appliance when noisy dryer motor came on ..
