Good lord yes, besides lots of posts on the subject. Open circuit triple valve, blocked condenser ducting, element earth leakage, NTC connection fault are all suspects.
Have you entered ‘diagnostics’ to find an error code? Does an error code flash up on the display?
Drier element down to around 30Meg insulation is favourite. Disconnect it and tie up the wires out of the way. Save yourself some time; leave the customer to test it through a few washes. If it’s fine and they didn’t need the dryer anyway, you won’t have to go back. But in case they decide for a new element, note the watts reading on old one as they vary.

Yes, I disconnected the dryer element on one on Friday then watched it complete a whole wash with no problems. The tenant who rents the furnished flat never uses the dryer anyway.
