Hi I was called to the above washer dryer the complaint was that it would not complete the wash cycle. On D which is the 40 degree wash it complete that and move onto f which is the rinse cycle which it takes in the water and washes and drains and then spins but thats as far as it goes. It is stopped half way between F and G . At first I thought the timer/module and ordered one from Tony at EMW and fitted it but customer called me back saying it was doing the same thing. If you turn it off and turn it on again it wil carry on and complete the cycle.
    Any ideas?

The VS81 timers are sensitive to earth leakages from the motor and heater; test those first. Is the pressure switch blocked or slow to respond due to a blockage? Is the filter clear? The timer has a 3 minute time out allowance only; so if the drain is restricted, it’ll stop.

Thanks for the info Steve I did the tests you sugested and everything ok I found a piece of plastic in the hose going to the outlet pump and it did the full cycle the next wash so I thought I was sorted but the wash after that gave the same prob . the m/c is doing a lot of vibrating could this be causing the prob.

I eventually found what was causing the prob after reading another post .It was the green solonoid I just replaced the coil and it worked fine.
