Zanussi Washer/drier ZWD1680 Probs After Conifuring?

A small triac had burnt out on the original control board which caused it
not to start when `start button pressed.

Fitted new board and configured it.

Selected a prog and the prog time came into the window display ok,
pressed start – it began to fill for 3-5 secs then jumped to 3mins and
started emptying with some drum rotation. It then counted down ok to
`off`.

It does this on every prog. The 3mins seems to equate to the drain
program.

I have rechecked the config sequence code numerous times until I nearly
know it off by heart – even did it jointly with the customer.

0-1, 1-f, 2-B, 3-C, 4-B, 5-0, 6-3, 7-B, 8-B, 9-9, A-7, B-C, C-B, D-6, E-5,

F-B.

I have checked the boared plugs and wiring numerous times and all
seems ok.

I have also changed the door interlock as a precaution.

The diagnostic function seems eratic also.

Any advice that you have would be very welcome. This is my first one.

Anyone ever had a duff board.

Did the pump run before fill? I’d check the analogue pressure sensor, it’s tube and wiring, carefully.

Will it do the various diagnostics correctly?

No it did not pump before filling for those few seconds.

The diagnostic sequence seemed eratic – it did not seem to follow what I was reading from the manual.

I will do as you advise

Iffy board perhaps then. I’d still spend a bit of time on ther peripherals first tho. You’ve checked for stored codes?
Ours follows the sequence in the book: drain to zero-calibrate the sensor before filling.
