    The control panel sometimes does not light up, sometimes does but no error code comes up. Any ideas?

    Could be a faulty display card but to look it up anyone will need the model and probably the product code or PNC number. You’ll find those on a sticker or plate inside the door normally.

    Thank you I will check: are they costly eg are they worth replacing?

    Dryer heater low insulation.
