I havce an error code that suggests either faulty wiring between dryer module and heater or a faulty main board (Ed4) I have checked the wiring – all fine reset the fault code & tested the machine again. Strange fault is intermittent in that sometimes the door wont lock and therefor the machine wont start – chacked for error code & Ed4 is back again …cleared it and machine starts and completes cycle. Next time it may be okay but then a few cycles later ….Door fails to lock and error code Ed4 returns GRRRR

I am guessing main PCB but a little nervous it may be a pricey guess any thoughts guys?

Check the insulation of the drying element – if it is below 40Meg then it can cause these machines to get tetchy.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just megga’d the element and it is 2.75! SO disconnected it and put it on test hoping it will go through and then new element ordered.

Cheers for that …These diagnostic progs are great so long as you remember to check the basics ha ha!
