Zanussi Washer/Dryer dryer not heating

Zanussi ZWD14270W1 (914604029/00) No live to element.

Set dryer to 40 mins, machine starts, fan runs after about 1 minute. Timer counts down very quickly and no supply to element.
Machine does not display any errors.
The element has a slight insulation fault of 60M’Ohms. Dryer NTC checks out OK. o obvious signs of damage to main PCB or Dryer PCB.

I am assuming it’s one of the PCB’s and thinking most likely the Dryer PCB.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like no connection to the bottom NTC on the condenser to me.

I’ll go back and check it. What resistance should I expect across the NTC?

Around 4 to 5 Kohms.

You were spot on. The wire was broken at the NTC connector.
Repaired and tested.
