Zanussi washer error code query

Hi,

I’ve got a zanussi with a last know error code of E52.
I cant remember the exact model number, its an FJS machine.

I’m pretty sure its the motor, because it wont turn, and also when you turn it by hand its starting to click, armature worn.

Can anybody tell me if i’m right.

Well, if the motor is clicking there is a raised segment on the armature so the motor has gone that’s for sure.

The fault code, without the model it’s not easy to check to be honest.

Hi,

Just an update.
i’ve just been out to repair this machine. The fault code means that theres a fault with the pcb.
The motor had shorted out, blowing the tracking to the pcb.
One new motor and a quick repair to the tracking and bobs your uncle, working again and one happy lady.
