zanussi washer fjr1454w door lock question?

Firstly i have tryed searching but havent found a fix for my problem so here goes.

I have got the above washer and when switched on with door open the catch is constantly trying to lock, when the door is shut it does lock and i can select programme but it will not start and the start/pause button just flashes and door will not open ?

I am guessing the interlock needs replacing but i would appreciate an expert view on the matter please !

more likely a duff pcb if its trying to lock the door before its closed

ive had em do that… some are the lock, some are the pcb

only way to be sure is to try a lock, and they aint that cheap
