ParticipantHi,
Zanussi FX13365
914792704/00When machine is switched on, the ‘End’ neon initially flashes five times then
goes into a regular 2 flashes then space and continues like (2 flashes) this
with accompanying beeps. No click occurs from the solenoid door interlock.
Is this a fault code – don’t seem to be able to find much on Zanussi
flashing neon fault codes.Thanks
Laurence

Sounds like it is showing a partial alarm – alarms starting with the number 2 on this machine relate to the drain pump and the triac controlling the drain pump, the number 5 could be a second alarm code which refers to either a main motor problem or main motor triac. I would take a guess that as this happens when the machine is first turned on that it may be a board fault although I don’t see that many zanussis so couldn’t say for sure.
If you can post an e-mail address then I can send you the service manual etc.

i always think its either fault 52 or 25 i would check the motor brushes first.

According to the troubleshooting manual that I have for it – it only shows the first digit of the error code to the end user, you have to go into the diagnostic mode to get both digits.
My guess is that it is doing its initial self check at start up and is coming up with 2 errors, the first is an E5x which relates to the main motor and its control triac and the second is an E2x which relates to the drain pump and its control triac. My guess would be that there is a fault with the triac sensing circuit on the board but am willing to be proved wrong.

Thanks folks,
Just a question of elimination then.
Thanks again – gives me something to work on.
