Zanussi washing machine Mod FJ1454W

Hi, Customer sets machine on a cotton 40 degree wash and it just carries on heating.
Also when it’s set on a cooler wash it will fill then either skip the program and go into spin or it will go into rinse and not complete the program.
I’m thinking module/pcb? Anyone have any other ideas?

Go straight to the motor and check the tacho magnet? 😉

Hi, I’m still having problems with this machine. I’ve checked the tacho that appears to be ok. anyone had the same prob? Thanks.

check heater and thermistor for continuity and earth leakage

I’ve already phoned Tony at EMW he didn’t know much about these. they don’t repair the boards for this machine.
Will check heater and thermister.
