    Our W/machine Zanussi FL1012 has a SOLE 2003 motor. I’ve renewed the brushes, but when it runs, it will not spin properly; when it starts the spin cycle, motor turns the drum, but when it should move to fast spin (1100 rpm) the motor cuts out and returns to slow turning the drum.

    Could this be caused by a faulty Tacho generator? Don’t think it’s the balance control, it does this when drum is empty as well. Motor is also a bit noisy.

    Any advice please? (Thought I’d posted this earlier but it hasn’t appeared)

    “Motor a bit noisy” may be the clue here. 😉
