zanussi washing machine ZWF16581W FAULT CODE EF2

have encountered a problem with a zanussi washing machine ZWF168581W , PNC: 914522629(01) . getting fault code EF2 shown on display but not found that code in the known error codes? only symptons are washing machine not spinning,,,,but will spin on test cycle? all components check out ok, and insulation checks satisfactory. has induction motor and two pcbs front ant rear left…..also one of them linear pressure switches!

any suggestions welcome and thanks in advance

Excessive detergent dosing, drain tube kinked or blocked .. Drain filter dirty or blocked .. For EF2 If i am right. 😉

took all hoses off, all clear and filter clear as well, no fault found. could it be a board issue? not familliar with modern day zanussi’s. we’re mainly trapped in hotpoint/indesit,bosch warranty work.

have you considered washing up liquid used instead of low-foam soap powder… i,e overfoaming – more usual with d/w but have come across that with washers too…

Glad to see i’m not the only 1 that gets stupid customers putting washing up liquid in their washers Lol.
