Guys hi..and thank you in anticipation.

Our machine as above has decided it’s worked long enough without fault.

That said, the dryer side of it didn’t last long but we’ve lived w/o that ok.

What’s up ? Well, machine had just been put on washing… I decided to go get coffee only to be faced with an Olympic sized swimming pool where the kitchen used to be.

Water cascading out the soap drawer.

So after enjoying a swim etc, I’ve checked it with the lid off and deduced this… Set it to wash on prog D… Starts to fill..and fill..and fill ..and..you get the idea.

So bottom line is, it’s not moving on on the prog …thus it never stops filling /doesn’t move on to get on with it’s prescribed task..that of washing, not creating swimming pools.

So…can I ask, am I right in thinking the main board /timer ? Or what do you think ? And..any ideas if costs.

I’m handy enough to fit the bits..but need to know what I’d need.

The machine was built Jan 01 ..

At first I thought it were the filter..checked that and indeed it was clogged …this happened soon after we bought it and it wouldn’t stop filling…but that cured that then..different now.

I have to say though, I’ve never ever figured why or how a clogged filter would affect the filling… But anyway.. If someone can help with the above, I’d be grateful. Thank you……

Sounds like the pressure pipe may be blocked. That is the thin pipe running from the lower part of the drum up to a switch mounted near the top.
