I seem to remember having a similar fault and it wasnt what you would expect. the timer and module `talk` to each other module does a lot more than motor speed control. Also does it have a seperate button for dry/half load? if so this must be depressed could be faulty.

I think a duff condenser solenoid coil will cause this……..

Maybe stating the obvious but I take it you have checked the plastic condenser for blockages, especially around the bottom where the tub hose is?

I think it could be a duff solenoid, blocked condenser or the thermistor in the lower condenser hose.
However I do seem to remember a while ago I had a dryer cutting out,and I tried everything and was about to give up,when I went through the diagnostic test and noticed there was no circulating pump action.
I dont know how this could be possible, but I found the circulating pump(not the drain pump) was open circuit.Replacing the pump rectified the fault.

Recirc pump washes back through condenser housing bottom to try and keep it clear, so will be in circuit with dryer circuits.

I have tried all the suggestions and the problem is still there I have the distriparts disc and gone through the wiring diagram but cannot rectify the problem. the heater does not come on but everything else works, apart from the wash timer advancing to the off position after about 1 min.
please help.November 2, 2006 at 10:16 pm #190503cab

I have tried a new dryer timer, this was the first thing I tried after looking at the diagram, I have also spoke to tony at EMW Electronics but he can’t suggest anything. Anymore ideas please.

Seem to remember that if it switches from dry to off in 1 minute it was the main timer that used to cause the problem. It is not sensing that a time is on the dry timer. Try putting the dry timer off and let it come off a spin. If it takes about a minute to step to off and takes the same length of time when the dryer timer is switched to a time then it is the main timer.
