Zanussi WDJ1294 Washer/Dryer – Drum Bearings Required

I live in MK44 and have a good condition washer/dryer that needs new drum bearings. I have posted an @repair and had a reply from 1 engineer who is quoting £200 – £300 and says it’s not worth fixing.

From this forum I’ve seen that folk have said that this is a good machine and is worth fixing. It is fine apart from the nosiy bearings.

Is there anyone out there prepared to quote a reasonable rate please?

That seems a little excessive to be honest, that may be an extreme “worst case scenario” price.
