Fitted a 1242707071 Sole Motor to above yesterday. Noticed that there was no star shaped circlip on the tacho coil. Tacho seemed firm in place. Is it missing or do the latest motors not have this fitted?

Probably glued in then, I had a look at a new motor here and it doesn’t have the clip either.
