    Are these welded tubs restricted to Zanussi / Electrolux
    machines or does it apply to AEG machines as well.

    Oh AEG as well of course! For example to Lavamat 76810 uses the welded tub from their Porcia factory in Italy…… :rolls:

    Are they available as a spare part? We have a bulletin saying to order tub front, tub rear, inner drum etc if a repair is required. Works out very expensive! £100 just for the 17 tub bolts 😯

    sad, but true

    no longer a viable repair

    you could , however contact t_i_m, he did his welded tub bearings, and bored us to death for about three weeks with his exploits

    theyre all going the same way

    the hoover GO has one, indesit now have 2 variants

    thats why there all under £250

    sad really
