    been out to this today when you switch it on the lights on the facia flash randomly all over the place and are unable to select programme any ideas gratefully received thanks

    Hi.

    My first thing to check would be the blue interface cable between the main & user board. Usually if you take the plug on & off several times at each end this cleans the contacts as they become oxidised.

    Sounds like it might have been accidentally put into some sort of diagnostics mode.

    That is a good point, Mike.

    If so, just turn it off, then on, then off, then on again. That should ensure you exit diagnostic fully.
