    hi,im looking at a zan washer dryer wjd1257,when you select a program it displays initially,then display goes blank,if i leave in unplugged for a minute or 2 it will do the same,otherwise only the on/off light appears and nothing else,any ideas would be welcome,suspect pcb,cheers dean

    Check the ribbon feeder between the two boards (bad connection?) 😉

    thanks martin,just tryed that,actually let me select and start program after,for 5 secounds or so,back to how it was before now tho,gotta be those boards playing up,pretty pricey tho,hopefully someone out there has come across it and can comfirm before i buy

    Sounds like Martin was on the right track. Why not just try a new ribbon cable first. I believe they are so common to give probs that some carry them as a stock spare.
