KeymasterMy 2 year old Zanussu washer/dryer has an intermittent problem where it is not draining at various part of the cycle and giving Error code E20.
I’ve checked/cleaned the drain filter but the problem is still there and getting worse. I supect the drain pump is jamming since all I can hear while the machine is not draining is a slight hum, no pump sound.
Does anyone know if it’s not too difficult to remove/clean or to replace the drain pump? I had a quick look from the bottom of the machine and can’t really see how to get to it, perhaps I’m missing some hidden access panel/way in? Of cause the next question will then be where can I get a pump from 🙂
Thanks
Paul

It certainly sounds like the drain pump.
There are various versions of this model though, can you check the rating plate and post up the number beggining 914???? please, I can source the pump then for you.
Front right corner normally (pump position) 🙂

Hi,
From the rating plate:-
91460140600
Type: P6347670I put the machine on its back and think I could see the drain pump through the bottom of the machine. Is there any other access to the pump other than through the bottom? It looked hard to gain much access to it, and I can’t see any other obvious access covers.

There you go, pump in the shop for you 😀

You can do it from underneath, you can also split the cabinet, please don’t be tempted to tip the machine upside-down though 😉

Easy job pull the plug out tip machine back enough to get your head under there are 3 Philips screws attaching the pump to its housing undo and then fit new pump 5 min job
