We have a customer with a Zanussi WJD1257W washer/dryer with the dryer not drying – no voltage to the elements (which are OK). Fan works, water valve works. Continuity on both the side stats including the resettable one.

I know there are two NTCs on this machine – one at the front top of the dryer manifold (which has a resistance of 5.22 KOhm) and a probe type on the side rubber hose (not tested, as I did not spot it on site).

Can anyone tell me the correct cold resistance of these two? Which one usually fails?

Also, what are the chances of it being a PCB fault (burned relay contacts perhaps) before I go buy the NTCs??

    Thanks guys

Broken wire on lower thermistor terminal maybe, it is very common.

Ditto, had a few of these with broken wires to lower ntc.
