Morning folks,
Last night when the washer was nearing the end of its cycle (approx 10mins) it started making a clicking noise, sounded like a electric arc. This was every time the motor rotated, I was thinking it might be something to do with the brushes so left it finish it’s cycle. Anyway this morning after removing the lid, draining the pump I laid it on its side, when I powered it up the clicking noise sounded as though it was from the top of the machine, top right white box (PCB ?). Stood the machine back upright and when I turn it on now there is no clicking noise, the switch power button lights up along with the door light but the control panel has no lights and none of the buttons work. Thinking the PCB has failed? Any other possibilities?

cant think what would click so loud so you could hear it in the top of the machine
if you turn motor by hand does it click
as for timer dead, it does sound as if its failed. the white box is the timer, the one on the control panel is effectively a remote control
