    Our washer/dryer will fill with water (and drain if the wash phase is skipped) but will not wash/agitate, spin or dry. The timer counts down but nothing happens on the wash/spin/dry phases.

    Does this sound like anything obvious?

    Any suggestions as to where to look will be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, the motor (carbon) brushes need replacing. 😀

    P.S Are you hiding in Sherwood Forest right now?
