Loud clunk (door + something else?) and an E90 error code initially, plus a “hot” smell. That went away after switching off and on. Now it will put 3ish litres of water in on any cycle, but then moves to 3mins remaining showing in display, drains and stops.

Water comes in at first and pretty quickly, so I don’t think its a filter issue. Pumps and motors seem to be working fine.

Local repair guy out today, but he couldn’t shed any light. Anyone here got any ideas?

    Thanks
    Doug.

E90 is a general code for communications problems between the user board and the power board. Your repairer should have been able enter diagnostics to get the specific code.

Hot/burning smells are not good – power board may be playing up.

Power off if you plan to investigate this yourself.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve had a look at the power / user board connections, and checked the blue cable between them with a meter – they seem fine. No obvious signs of fried components.

Not terribly impressed with the local repairer, though he’s fixed stuff for us before, I think the electronics bothered him! Time to get the real professionals in – they’re coming round on Friday.

    Doug.
