Participantbit of a head scratcher this one…
appliance has had a couple of faults including this E10 when dryer selected..E10 .. no water to app, valve, presure swi, pcb,
i have fitted to date..main pcb, display pcb, d/swi,2 x pres swi,s,valve, condesor assy.
guess what …E10 STILL THERE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
customer is reasonably patient as they dont really use the dryer a lot, but obliviously want it to work..
why you select dryer drum tumbles, drain pump comes on as it should,
now i know the dryer fan and elements dont come on for about 10 mins..
but what happens with this app. is after about 12 mins.. of tumbling and drain pump, no dryer fan/heat, and then E10 error apears..any ideas appreciated
yours demented ally..

Participantok, here goes
have you cleaned the condenser?
secondly.. the pump on those machines have a toc fitted to the coil which goes open circuit quite quickly when they run without water
however, it does tend to come back on when it cools
i’d be cleaning the condenser and changing the pump base for a good quality non genuine replacement
and id check the toc in the hose from the condenser to the tub, if there is onehope this helps?

Sequence for this should be door locks, condensor valve operates and drum tumbles. When the electronic pressure switch senses the water level rise it will then bring on the drain pump and one of the dryer elements (lower one if I remember correctly). When the temperature in the dryer duct reaches a certain point the dryer fan switches on. Are you actually getting water through the condensor valve into the duct? Is the pump coming on straight away? Are you getting power to the lower dryer element? ❓

Have you changed the correct valve as E10 is cold valve fault. I have had this fault before and just changed the valve and nothing else, always fixed the fault. If not use self diag. test.

SORRY FOR LATE REPLY GUYS,
door locks, getting water through valve, pump comes on, drum tumbles,
after about 10 mins e10 appears.no power to heating elements or fan motor,
condensor has been changed, and its a new triple valve.to recap ive fitted pcb main and display,2 x presure switchs door lock and trrip valve..
im kinda thinking it may be a sensor somewhere..

Sure there is, it’s an NTC Thermistor (3792171013) poked into the bottom condenser hose. 😉
