Zanussi WJS1265W w/d

Suspect this is a board fault, but confirmation would be appreciated.

The machine, when switched on goes straight to “Extra dry” – 2.00 hrs showing on display. Pause and reset have no effect. Initially, the machine would start but not count down this drying programme. 20 mins with the test meter revealed all components to be functional and connected, but upon restarting the machine, it now counts down the programme. Still can’t cancel it.

Am awaiting call from customer in the morning to see if running the programme cleared it and she can programme anything else….

Any comments greatly appreciated. The cold water valve is fully functional BTW.

Had same model would not cancel programme turned out customers son spilt apple juice down front of machine and then cleaned it off but some got inside command panel after a couple of days it made buttons on the front stick removed front and claened, fault was also intermittant.
