hi guys

removed blockage as cust complaining of e20′ now it begjins the cycle then fills and then drains and to 2mins or so on timer, seen it before cant remember whats going pn?

also lay machine on its side during repair, checked pressure pipe is ok.

motor wizzing round no problem on spin for 10mins or so.

its confused and so am i?

You most certainly are confused, Zanussi don’t make a WKS1265W.
Can you post correct model & maybe 9 digit PNC number for it.

Pump & filter, sump & drain hose etc would be the areas to be looking at obviously, have you tried a new pump in case the original one is just tired/worn out?

sorry typo error wjs1265w, yes i fitted a new pump to it also at the same time as removing blockage, so to clarify it fills with water’ pauses has a think about it for a few seconds then goes to 2mins or so as if its not happy with a componant then goes to fast forward drain and end.

now iv not heard from the customer today as i told them to leave it over night unplugged then try again but i think i will be lucky

Either an earth leak on dryer heater or a fault with analogue pressure switch? I’ll put my money on the dryer element. 😉

thanks Martin, yes i know earth leakage its a common problem on these WD’s but what confused me is the customer swore blind it worked ok before the blockage and it was blocked else i would have gone straight for that, maybe all the movement finished off the dryer or the customer is telling porky’s and it had previous faults…..
